Whether you are looking for a 5 min. photo ID or assistance with your immigration paperwork, we pride ourselves in producing only the best for our customers and at the lowest prices on island. Technology has made photography accessible to everyone; however,
Rainbow Photo has been able to keep up with our customers’ demands.
We have come a long way from the old-fashioned way of developing enlargements in the dark room and when the digital age emerged; we jumped right in and progressed to a full-digital photo lab. To meet the needs of our customers, we also assist with General Office duties such as; application forms, cover letters, resumes, travel pre-checks, police clearances, printing, copying, scanning, and more.

Blad Quezada Herrera is a highly valuable and experienced member of the Rainbow Photo team, bringing over thirty years of exceptional photography related skills and expertise.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, he is fluent in both Spanish and English, enabling him to serve a diverse range of clients with professionalism and care.
Blad specializes in photo restoration and editing, leveraging his extensive knowledge to bring cherished images back to life. He is also the creative mind behind our sublimation services, where we can customize a customer’s photo onto a variety of sublimation products; such as mugs, tumblers, caps, shirts, etc. Whether you need a professional ID photo, a sublimation photo gift, or a quick, quality fix, Blad is the go-to expert—known for his precision and professional approach.
A passionate lifelong learner, Blad continually enrolls in photography classes to stay at the forefront of his craft. Known affectionately as "Maestro" and endearingly called "The Monstro/Monster," he is the longest-serving staff member at Rainbow where his experience and commitment greatly enhance the Rainbow Photo’s reputation for excellent service.

Meet Alesandro Escalante – Our Friendly Customer Service Expert / School Photographer
Hailing from the beautiful Cayman Islands, Alesandro is a vibrant and talented addition to the Rainbow Photo team. As our Customer Service Representative and School Photographer, he brings a blend of warm hospitality and technical know-how to every interaction.
Growing up in a family passionate about photography—being the son of renowned photographer Miguel Escalante, former owner of The Photo Centre and ME Photography, Alesandro discovered his love for capturing moments early on. He honed his skills through hands-on training and mentorship under his father’s guidance, developing a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for the craft.
With over 9 years of experience specializing in school photography, Alesandro has a knack for making every student and staff member feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. His work has touched lives at various local school institutions.
Known for embodying the spirit of CAYMAN KIND, Alesandro greets everyone with a warm smile and sincere care. Always cheerful and eager to go the extra mile, he’s committed to ensuring your experience at Rainbow Photo is nothing short of excellent. When you visit, you’ll find Alesandro ready and eager to capture your perfect moment with professionalism and a touch of fun!
Leatha Morejon
Owner/Managing Director
Leatha is the Owner of Rainbow Photo. She is responsible for behind-the-scenes operations and administrative services.
She along with her spouse, Luis came up with the idea of Rainbow Photo shortly after the birth of their first child. Luis fell in love with photographing the vivid aspects of the island and Leatha was obsessed with taking photos of her first child; together they established Rainbow Photo

Meet Raul Pumar Hurtado – A Creative Spirit from the Heart of Cuba
Hailing from Cuba, the largest island in the Caribbean, Raul has been passionate about the arts since childhood. His journey began with a love for painting, drawing, and sculpture, which led him to hone his skills through various workshops and courses.
After graduating from the School of Art Instructors in 2006, Raul immersed himself in the world of visual arts, exploring different specialties and developing a keen eye for detail and expression. His artistic journey expanded in 2008 when he delved into photography, embracing every facet through dedicated courses and workshops.
Between 2011 and 2022, Raul showcased his talents at fairs and private galleries across Havana, selling both paintings and photographs. His versatile portfolio spans numerous genres — from studio and documentary to street, interior, and architectural photography — always with a focus on storytelling and emotional impact.
Raul’s passion lies in creating images that resonate deeply with viewers, capturing the raw, often overlooked aspects of life. His work aims to evoke emotion, reflect personal and cultural stories, and highlight the beauty within everyday moments — all through the lens of sincerity and aesthetic appreciation.
As a Photo Lab Assistant Technician, Raul is excited to bring his love for photography and the arts to Rainbow Photo. He looks forward to engaging with the Caymanian community and sharing his creative vision. Thrilled to be part of the Rainbow Photo team — the premier photography studio in the Cayman Islands — Raul is eager to help you capture your most cherished moments with authenticity and flair!
Luis Morejon
Owner/Photographer
Luis is the Co-Owner of Rainbow Photo.
His aptitude for photography initially began during his employment as a Photo
Lab Assistant at the Photo Centre. Under the training of Miguel Escalante, well-known island
photographer, Luis love for photography flourished and in 1992 he branched out into a business venture along with his
spouse, Leatha Morejon to open and operate Rainbow Photo. Luis' Interests;
Sports,Football, traveling, gardening and farming. Luis is a well-known sports personality both on the field and off the field. He has been coaching football and volleyball for over thirty years and he has also played on various local football and volleyball teams.
Christopher Cooper Bodden
Studio Manager/Photographer
Meet Christopher James Cooper Bodden! Chris is a generational Caymanian, born in Honduras, who proudly embraces his Caymanian heritage and cultural background.
As our Studio Manager and Photographer, we’re excited to have Chris’ talent and enthusiasm on board to help preserve your special moments! He brings a vibrant energy and a wealth of experience to our team and he’s no stranger to the local photography scene, having previously worked on the island. His multilingual skills—fluent in English, Spanish, and some Italian and Tagalog, allow him to connect with a diverse range of customers in multiple languages.
With over 15 years of international photography experience, Chris has captured moments everywhere from cruise ship studios to stunning destination scenery. He’s worked with Royal Caribbean as an onboard photographer, specializing in studio shoots, location shoots, candid shots, and weddings. His expertise extends to training photographers, managing the Photo Labs on board of different ships of the Royal Caribbean Fleet, as well as offering services like custom framing, photo restoration, canvas prints, and digital photography. Chris is a true all-rounder, handling not only photography but also taking charge of administrative tasks like translations, office support, and immigration applications and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Chris’s global adventures and cultural exposure bring a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the art of photography. When he’s not behind the camera, he enjoys exploring online gaming, sports, poetry, and fishing —fueling his creative spirit.
